Miss Finland finalists pose for cameras at Gazipaşa Alanya Airport

Gazipaşa Alanya Airport operated by TAV Airports hosted Miss Finland 2015 finalists. The candidates have posed at apron and terminal building for the promotion of the region and the airport. The photos will be used to promote Gazipaşa Alanya Airport, which has a significant role in transportation to both Alanya and neighboring regions, in Finland.

The finalists of 'Miss Finland 2015' beauty contest that will be held in Finland have participated in photo shootings at Gazipaşa Alanya Airport before the grand finale. Finalists of the beauty contest posed at the apron and the terminal building during the shots held to contribute the promotion of the region and the airport.

Direct flights will be launched from Gazipaşa Alanya Airport to Helsinki, the capital of Finland, via FinAir, Jettime Finland and Corendon airlines this year.

Continuing to pursue its goal of continuous development, TAV Airports was awarded the Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport operation tender in August 2007. The airport is leased to TAV Airports for a period of 25 years till May 2034. Completed in 1999, offering an annual passenger capacity of 500,000 and covering an area of 2,144 sqm; Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport has been expanded three times of its first size thanks to the investments made by TAV Airports. 15,000 sqm apron has also been expanded to 22,000 sqm as part of expansion works. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport has been hosting the passengers with its new 6,400 sqm terminal building and the apron which has been doubled in size since July 2014. The Airport, of which the annual capacity has been increased to 1,500,000 passengers with the expansion works, provided service to 726,000 passengers in 2014. It is aimed that Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport will contribute to development of the region in terms of tourism, agriculture, business, culture, promotional activities and decrease unemployment.
