Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport welcomed Corendon's first flight from Brussels

Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport ceremoniously welcomed Corendon's first flight from Brussels. Corendon Airlines will operate reciprocal flights from Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport to 17 different destinations in seven countries throughout the season.

Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, operated by TAV Airports, welcomed Corendon's inaugural base flight from Brussels yesterday (May 2nd) with a water salute. Flight XC7655, operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, brought 189 passengers to Alanya. The passengers were greeted with flowers at the terminal. Corendon plans to operate 1278 flights throughout the season until October 26th, connecting Alanya to a total of 17 destinations in seven different countries. These destinations include Brussels, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Copenhagen, and Tehran.

TAV Gazipaşa Airport Coordinator Oğuzhan Karatürk,  stated, "Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport has made a successful start to the year by increasing passenger numbers compared to last year. We will continue to work in collaboration with our stakeholders to connect Alanya to more destinations. We look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world. We hope that the increased number of destinations and flights will make a significant contribution to the tourism revenues of our city in 2024."

Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, with a total of 14 airlines operating flights to 23 different destinations in 12 countries, served 36,729 passengers on international flights in the first quarter of 2024, marking an 88% increase compared to the same period last year. The total number of passengers increased by 29% compared to the same period last year, reaching 135,651.
