Gazipaşa Airport is now connected to Adana and Beirut

Antalya Gazipaşa Airport welcomed the flight of regional airline company BoraJet arriving from Adana to depart for Beirut. Gazipaşa is now connected to Adana and Beirut with the reciprocal flights of BoraJet.

Operated by TAV Airports, Antalya Gazipaşa Airport started to host reciprocal flights of regional airline company BoraJet arriving from Adana to depart for Beirut. To acknowledge the first flight arriving from Adana, the passengers and crew of ATR – 500 type aircraft arriving to Gazipaşa Airport were welcomed by TAV Gazipaşa officials. BoraJet aircraft then took off from Gazipaşa to Beirut together with its passengers.

TAV Gazipaşa Chief Operations Officer Cengiz Aşıklı stated “Gazipaşa Airport welcomed its first commercial scheduled flights of BoraJet from Istanbul, which were started to be launched on July 12th, 2010. It has a special meaning to us that BoraJet, which was launching scheduled flights to Gazipaşa Airport from Istanbul and Ankara during that time, started to launch a new destination to our airport. With these flights, now Gazipaşa Airport has two new direct domestic and international destinations to Adana and Beirut, respectively. We will continue to add new destinations to our airport in order to contribute to the development of the tourism sector in Alanya and our region, as well as Gazipaşa. I wish the best for all our passengers as far as the destination of Adana – Gazipaşa – Beirut of BoraJet concerns."

BoraJet will launch reciprocal flights of Adana-Gazipaşa-Beirut destination every Thursday and Sunday until the end of September.

There are direct flights to 19 destinations in 9 countries from Gazipaşa Airport, which are Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Köln, Stuttgart and Munich in Germany, Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Oslo, Stavanger and Bergen in Norway, Copenhagen and Billund in Denmark, Stockholm and Goteborg in Sweden, Helsinki in Finland, Vilnius in Lithuania, Brussels in Belgium, Beirut in Lebanon. Furthermore Pegasus Airlines launched reciprocal flights between Gazipaşa and Tehran in Iran via connections at Adana once a week. Gazipaşa Airport performs domestic flights to various domestic and international destinations via connection from Ankara Esenboğa by AnadoluJet, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen by Pegasus and Istanbul Atatürk Airport by OnurAir. Direct domestic flights to Adana are also launched from Gazipaşa Airport following Istanbul and Ankara. Gazipaşa Airport provided service to 363,000 passengers in 2013.
