Gazipasa Airport welcomes the first international flight of 2013 with SAS
Scandinavian airline company Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) made this year’s first international flight from Oslo to Antalya Gazipasa Airport. With the flights which SAS started to schedule for Turkey, Antalya Gazipasa Airport hosted this year’s first international flight.
Antalya Gazipasa Airport, an airport operated by TAV Airports Holding, welcomed the SAS passengers from the Norwegian capital Oslo on March 23. The flight crew of SAS, an airline company which is expected to meet approximately 20% of the tourism capacity of Alanya, was welcomed with flowers by the TAV Gazipasa personnel.
General Manager of TAV Gazipasa Airport Cengiz Aşıklı said, “SAS Airlines, which scheduled flights from Oslo to Antalya Gazipasa Airport in 2012 as well, facilitated the first international flight of 2013 at 2.25 pm on March 23. SAS will also have more flights from Oslo to Gazipasa between March 27 and 30. We are pleased to welcome the first international flight of the new season with SAS passengers. The Scandinavian tourists will also play a significant role in contributing to the tourism potential of Alanya.”
Scandinavian airline company SAS, which will conduct scheduled and charter flights to Gazipasa Airport, landed in Antalya Gazipasa Airport from Oslo at 2.25 pm with its 138 passengers. The aircraft arriving in the Gazipasa Airport departed for Oslo at 3.10 pm with 58 passengers on board. Scandinavian airline company SAS will schedule Gazipasa flights three days a week.
