Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport to receive carbon accreditation
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport has received the ACI Europe’s Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Level 1 certificate. All airports in Turkey operated by TAV participated in the programme.
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, operated by TAV Airports- a member of Groupe ADP, received the certificate as it met the requirements of the first tier of the programme created by ACI Europe, which aims to contribute to the fight against climate change by eliminating carbon emissions.

With Gazipasa's certification, our five airports in Turkey and a total of eight airports in our portfolio have joined the ACA programme."
TAV’s Izmir Adnan Menderes, Antalya and Ankara Esenboğa airports have reached the carbon neutral level at the ACA programme. Croatia Zagreb and Tunisia Enfidha are in the third level; while Tunisia Monastir Airport is on the second level and Milas-Bodrum and Gazipaşa-Alanya are on the first level of the programme.
About Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport
TAV Airports won the tender for the operating rights of Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in August 2007. With the investments made by the company, the terminal building was enlarged three times, the parking capacity on the apron was doubled and the runway was extended to make the airport suitable for the use of wide-body aircraft. TAV has the right to operate the airport until May 2036. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport handled 218 thousand passengers between January and May 2022, and 1,645 flights were operated at the airport during the same period. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport serves 12 countries, 15 destinations and 16 airlines as of June 2022.
