Yiğit Laçin Appointed GM of Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport
Yiğit Laçin has been appointed general manager of Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport. Laçin, who has been working for TAV Airports since 2006, had been appointed deputy general manager of Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport last year.
About Yigit Laçin
Yiğit Laçin was born on 10 May 1982 and graduated from Adnan Menderes University, Department of Business and Economics in 2004. He started his aviation career at TAV Ankara. Laçin successfully completed the Global ACI-ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP) in 2019. Yiğit Laçin, who has held senior positions at Ankara Esenboğa, Ohrid, Skopje and Monastir Airports, has been with TAV Airports for 16 years.
About Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport
Gazipaşa-Alanya, the second airport of Antalya, which is one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean, provides direct access to the eastern part of the region. TAV Airports won the tender for the operating rights of Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport in August 2007. With the investments made by the company, the terminal building was enlarged three times, the apron parking capacity was doubled, and the runway was extended to make the airport suitable for the use of wide-body aircraft. TAV has the right to operate the airport until May 2036.
