Pegasus launches flights from Gazipasa

 

Reciprocal flights between Antalya Gazipasa Airport, which is operated by TAV Airports, and Istanbul have been launched. Performing its first flight with a B-737-800 type aircraft, Pegasus Airlines landed off to Gazipasa in the evening. The aircraft was welcomed by a water arches on the apron and 146 passengers were hosted at the terminal by a ceremony organized by TAV Gazipasa executives. The ceremony was attended by Gazipasa District Governor Muhittin Pamuk, Mayor of Gazipasa Cem Burak Ozgenc, Anamur District Governor Cengiz Canturk, Mayor of Anamur Mehmet Ture, TAV Gazipasa Operations Coordinator Cengiz Asıklı and airport employees.

The reciprocal flights of Pegasus Airlines will be scheduled four times a week from Antalya Gazipasa Airport to Istanbul on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Pegasus Airlines also provides complimentary shuttle service to Alanya for the passengers of Gazipasa-Istanbul flights. Pegasus Airlines is the fifth airline company launching flights to the area after SAS, Corendon Airlines, Transavia and Tailwind Airlines.
