Direct flights from Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport to Tashkent have started
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport welcomed the inaugural flight from Tashkent operated by Uzbekistan Airways with a special ceremony. Throughout the season, Uzbekistan Airways will operate reciprocal flights between Gazipaşa-Alanya and Tashkent every Thursday.
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, operated by TAV Airports, welcomed the inaugural flight from Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with a ceremony held on June 12. Passengers of flight HY3243, operated by an Airbus A320, were greeted with flowers upon arrival at the terminal. Direct flights between Gazipaşa-Alanya and Tashkent will continue until September 4.
Ali Özgür Pehlivan, TAV Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport Director, stated: "With the start of the summer season, we continue to strengthen our global connectivity through new airlines and routes operating from Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport. At the end of May, we welcomed the first flight from Astana. Now, we are pleased to connect another Central Asian capital directly to Alanya with the launch of Uzbekistan Airways' Tashkent route. Each new route contributes to the tourism potential of our region and enhances our international reach. We will continue working with all stakeholders to expand Alanya’s connectivity and support regional tourism."
In 2024, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport served 1,051,608 passengers. For the 2025 summer season, the airport plans to operate flights with 14 airlines to 21 international destinations across 14 countries until October 26. In the first five months of 2025 alone, the airport has already served 274,781 passengers.
