Personal data we obtain from you shall be processed in line with the fundamental principles stipulated in the Law, within the personal data processing framework drawn in articles 5 and 6 of the Law, and with the purposes stated below, the major purposes being: Collecting applications and requests for the products and services offered by our Company, finalizing these requests, finalizing the complaints received about the products or services offered by our Company in accordance with internal and external procedures binding the Company, customer relationship management, corporate communication activities, and activities based on customer satisfaction or experience.

 

  • Making necessary studies/works, by our related business units, for the performance of commercial and/or operational activities carried out by our Company, and conducting the business processes in relation thereto,
  • Planning and/or implementing commercial and/or business strategies of our Company

  1. PARTIES TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA SHALL BE TRANSFERRED AND THE PURPOSES OF TRANSFER

Your personal data which shall be collected may be disclosed to our business partners in Turkey and abroad, our shareholders, mainly the Aéroports de Paris Group, our group companies, our suppliers, legally authorized public authorities, and competent private persons, in order to achieve the Purposes, in accordance with the personal data processing terms and conditions set forth in articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

 

  1. METHOD AND LEGAL REASON FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If you contact our Company, your personal data shall be collected in an electronic and/or physical environment, by means of online forms, call/communication center, website, and corporate social media channels.

 

Furthermore, your personal data shall be collected based on the legal reasons for the fulfillment of legal obligations set forth in articles 5 and 6 of the Law, for execution and performance of the agreement, and legitimate interest.

 

  1. AS THE OWNER OF PERSONAL DATA, YOUR RIGHTS DEFINED IN ARTICLE 11 OF THE LAW

We hereby notify that, as a data subject, you have the following rights according to article 11 of the Law:

  • To learn whether your personal data are processed or not,
  • If your personal data are processed, to request information in relation thereto,
  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in compliance with the purpose,
  • To know the third persons, to whom your personal data are transferred in Turkey or abroad,
  • In case your personal data are processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request the correction thereof and to request that any operation carried out in this context is reported to the third persons, to whom your personal data are transferred,
  • Despite being processed in compliance with the provisions of this Law and other relevant laws, to request that personal data shall be erased or destructed in the event that the reasons for the processing no longer exist and any operation carried out in this context is reported to the third persons, to whom your personal data are transferred,
  • To object to the occurrence of an outcome against you, if any, by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems,

Covid19: Travel Safe

The duty-free at our airport are configured as for you to keep your safe physical distance with others. Please follow instructions and signage. Wearing a mask is obligatory at duty-free shops.

Duty-free areas and storage areas are frequently disinfected.

We recommend using contactless payment options.

International arrival passengers will have their body temperatures checked and in case of suspicion, passengers will be directed to the health units.

All arrival areas at our airport are configured as for you to keep your safe physical distance with others. Please follow instructions and signage.

Baggage conveyor systems are disinfected frequently.

All waiting areas at our airport are configured as for you to keep your safe physical distance with others. Please follow instructions and signage.

Boarding will begin from the back of the aircraft and proceed to front row seats. Please wait for your turn.

Boarding pass and ID checks are configured to minimize contact with others.

Passengers without masks won’t be allowed to board the airplane.

The prayer areas at our airport are configured as for you to keep your safe physical distance with others. Please follow instructions and signage.

The F&B points at our airport are configured as for you to keep your safe physical distance with others. Please follow instructions and signage. Wearing a mask is obligatory at F&B points.

F&B areas, kitchens and storage areas are frequently disinfected.

We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight for domestic flights, and 2 or 2,5  hours for international flights.

Until further notice, only passengers and airport staff will be allowed inside the terminal. Please wait in the carpark to welcome guests.

We have implemented signage for you to keep your physical distance with others during security control. Please adhere to directions.

X-ray machines and trays are disinfected frequently.

Your body temperature will be checked with thermal cameras upon entering the terminal. Anyone with a body temperature above 37.5C will be directed to the health authorities. We kindly remind you to put on your mask before entering the terminal building.

No, you can still check-in to your flight when you arrive at the terminal. On the other hand, for a faster and safer experience, we recommend to complete your online check-in before arriving at the terminal, whenever possible.

To protect yourself and others, you are required to wear a mask at all times during your journey in the airport. Passengers without a mask will not be allowed inside the terminal and will not be able to board the plane. Irregularity to comply with this rule may result in penalties.

We kindly remind you to wear a mask during your trip to and from the airport with public transportation.

The precautions taken at our airport can be grouped under three main areas.

Firstly, we have mapped the movement of passengers and staff inside the airport and configured a flow that would enable everyone to keep safe physical distance with other in every step of the way. Secondly, we have increased the frequency of disinfection and hygiene works. Thirdly, we have made arrangements to minimize contact between passengers and airport staff.

Aviation is a highly regulated industry due to the global character of the business. In Turkey, the precautions to be taken at airports against COVID-19 are defined in the “Airports Pandemic Precautions and Certification Circular”, issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM). We have implemented these precautions fully at our airport.
